Bridesmaids

(Listed in chronological maturity)

Jordan is my flower girl. She is Duane's niece. I have yet to have the pleasure of meeting Jordan, but she sounds very delightful and a go-getter like her Uncle Duane. She is ready no-doubt for her role as the flower girl as she has been reading the Junie B. Jones books (Barbara Park) specifically 'Junie B. Jones is (almost) a Flower Girl.' Alissa (her mother) informs me that being a flower girl continues to be a hot topic of discussion at their house, as Jordan is getting ready for her 'aisle debut'. I look forward to meeting Jordan and her family.

Jordan from California

Barbara is my sister-n-law. She married my brother Jeremy in 1996. She came to us all the way from Chile. It's been fun getting to know Barbara better over the years through our various roles to one another: sister-n-laws, coworkers, roommates and friends. I admire her courage, perseverance and strength. Barbara has been a blessing and a delight to have in our family.

Barbara from Marysville

Melissa is also my sister-n-law. She married my brother Barry in 1998. She came to us all the way from New Jersey; however she and Barry reside in Colorado, so I don't get to see much of her. Over the years, I have gotten to know Melissa on trips to/from Colorado and on family trips. She is a very giving person. I admire her never ending energy and determination. Melissa has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Melissa from Denver

Daynia from Bothell

Daynia has been my friend since the third grade. She moved away when we were in high school to Bellevue. We stayed in touch and are now living in the same area again. Daynia has always been a great friend. She has a servant's heart. She is also very patient and preserving (evidence is that she is pregnant with her 4th child). I admire her positive attitude and encouraging spirit.  It is a blessing to call her "friend".

Trish from Woodinville

Trish and I have known each other since third grade, but became friends in fourth grade when we began Missionettes together. My mom was the teacher and the first person to introduce Trish to Christ. Trish has been my friend and confidant since the fourth grade. Everyone should be so blessed to have a friend like Trish. She has always stood by me, loved and encouraged me. Because of Trish's love, encouragement and prayers, I dared to dream of something better…thank you.

Mary has been my friend since 2000. We met at a singles event and have been friends ever since. Mary has been a great friend and example. Mary so freely gives of her time and talents. It's been fun getting to know Mary while searching for our "Mr. Right!" I admire Mary's energy, determination and eagerness to help others out.

Mary from Silverdale
