We enjoyed a refreshing honeymoon cruise to Alaska aboard the Holland America Line. It was both Cori and Duane's first time visiting
Alaska and the Yukon, and completed "the last frontier" for Duane, who had been to every state in the union except Alaska. The trip was a relaxing surprise for Cori, who had somehow thought we were going to have to get
on a plane to fly to Fiji. We visited Juneau, Skagway, Ketchican, and Glacier Bay. From our private verandah on the ship, we saw amazing beauty in both Alaska and BC, witnessed Glaciers calving into the
Bays, and saw whales and otters and bald eagles and all sorts of other wildlife. There were also some lovely sunsets...as much as one can have with the very short nights of Alaska. We have posted some pictures of our honeymoon trip. |
